Privacy Policy

The short version

We don't require an account, we don't collect names or email addresses, and we don't sell data. We log anonymous search queries and outbound link clicks to improve the site, and that's it.

What we collect

• Search events. When you run a search, we store the query text, any filters you applied, and how many results came back. We do not store your IP address or any identifier that could be tied to you.
• Click events. When you click a “View at retailer” link, we record which product you clicked, which retailer it pointed to, and the page you came from (referrer). We do not record who you are.
• No accounts, no PII. We don't collect names, email addresses, billing information, or anything tied to your identity.

Cookies

We don't set any user-tracking cookies. Internal staff have a single cookie used to stay logged in to the editorial dashboard; it does not affect public visitors.

Third parties

• Hosting: the site runs on Vercel, which has access to standard server logs.
• Database: our product index and event logs live in MongoDB Atlas.
• Affiliate networks and retailers: when you click out to a retailer, you leave our site. Whatever they do with cookies and analytics on their side is governed by their privacy policies, not ours.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personally identifiable information, there's nothing tied to you in our records to delete or export. If you have a question about a specific event you believe was logged, email us.
